Winter Wonderland Weekend at The Delaware Center for Horticulture

The Delaware Center for Horticulture invites you to some festive fun! We’ll be holding our greenery sale, holiday bazaar, and Art loop opening Friday-Saturday. Make sure to visit on Saturday, because Santa is coming to town! During our event, local food trucks will be available to get food and drinks.

Friday, December 2nd:

Greenery Sale 12 pm-9 pm

Holiday Bazaar 5 pm-9 pm

Art Loop opening 5 pm-9 pm

Saturday, December 3rd:

Pictures with Santa 10 am-12 pm

Winter is a time for giving so why not treat the ones you love to hand-made gifts? Local artists and artisans will display a variety of items for purchase. Stop by to check off your gift list and enjoy the DCH holiday ambiance.

Art Loop Opening

Art Loop Opening: Friday, December 2nd, 5:00 p.m.-9 p.m. (special extended hour for DCH’s Holiday Bazaar Event)

Come see original watercolor artwork featuring woodland creatures, garden vignettes, birds, and flowers painted on vintage music sheets and garden text. Local Wilmington, Delaware artist, nature-lover, and gardener, Barb Rosen, has used her garden, its native visitors, and the Brandywine Valley area as inspiration for these unique watercolor pieces.

 

Greenery Sale

Friday, December 2nd, 12PM – 9 PM and Saturday, December 3rd, 10AM – 4 PM

Come out to DCH for your seasonal ornamental greens and enjoy our fire pit and holiday music!

We will have a wide variety of natural materials for your decorating needs, including fresh, traditional evergreens as well as unusual, dried plant material and colorful branches. You’ll find all the greens you’ll need to make your own wreaths, garlands, and swags. Add them as seasonal colors to your empty planters or use your imagination to trim your home.

 

Pictures with Santa

Saturday, December 3rd, 10 AM – 12 PM

Santa Claus is coming to town! Visit DCH for a bit of holiday cheer by joining us for pictures with Santa. Professional photographer, Rhonda Bowman will be capturing each jolly moment. Pictures with Santa are $10 for each family, reserve your spot today!
