BLUE COATS COMEBACK RALLY FALLS SHORT AGAINST RAPTORS 905

WILMINGTON – FEBRUARY 12, 2022 – The Delaware Blue Coats (9-5), the NBA G League affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers, fell to the Raptors 905 (13-4), 109-104 on Saturday night at Chase Fieldhouse. The loss snaps the Blue Coats 4-game winning streak. The win puts the Raptors 905 alone in first place in the eastern conference.

Shaquille Harrison led the Blue Coats with 24 points (8-14 FG, 4-7 3FG) and 4 rebounds. Braxton Key posted a double-double with 17 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, and a pair of steals.

Two-way player Myles Powell added 17 points and 3 rebounds for the Blue Coats. Delaware’s Aaron Henry did a bit of everything with 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Jared Brownridge tallied 10 points and 2 rebounds for the Blue Coats. Jarron Cumberland, this season’s Showcase Cup MVP, put up 12 points for Delaware.

The Raptors 905 dominated the glass, out rebounding the Blue Coats 62-43. Six Blue Coats scored in double-figures in the loss.

Aaron Best led the Raptors 905 with 21 points (8-16 FG, 3-8 3FG) and 10 rebounds. Isaac Bonga posted a monster double-double with 14 points and 20 rebounds.
