DIAA ANNOUNCES 2021 CHAMPIONSHIP SITES FOR BOYS AND GIRLS LACROSSE, GIRLS SOCCER, BASEBALL, TRACK, AND GOLF

Dover, DE – The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) is pleased to announce the championship sites for boys and girls lacrosse, girls soccer, baseball, track, and golf.

All tournament rounds leading up to the boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, girls soccer and baseball championships will be played at the higher seeded team, per their approved facility plan.

Dover High School will serve as the host of the boys and girls lacrosse championships and the outdoor track and unified track DIAA championship meet.

Friday, May 21 – Outdoor Track Preliminaries & Unified Track Championship Meet 

Saturday, May 22 – Outdoor Track Championship Meet

Thursday, May 27 – Girls Lacrosse Championship 

Saturday, May 29 – Boys Lacrosse Championship

Caesar Rodney High School will be the host of the girls soccer championship. The Division 1 and Division 2 girls soccer championships are set for Tuesday, June 1.

Daniel S. Frawley Stadium will host the DIAA Baseball Championship which is set for Saturday, May 29.

The Golf Championship will be held at Maple Dale Country Club on Tuesday, June 1 and Wednesday, June 2.

All championship start times will be determined and announced at each sport’s seeding meeting.

“We are extremely grateful to our member schools and athletic directors for their willingness to host our championships during what has been a challenging year. We look forward to making this year’s Championships a truly memorable experience for everyone involved,” said Executive Director Donna Polk.

Sites for the tennis and softball championships will be announced at a later date.
