The Delaware Basketball Hall of Fame is set to welcome seven new inductees on February 8, celebrating a mix of record-breaking players, a championship-winning coach, and a referee with decades of service. The ceremony, held at the Embassy Suites in Newark, will also honor Walt Hazzard, the first Delaware native to become an All-American, Olympic gold medalist, and NBA All-Star. Among the honorees are Jawan Carter, Chelsea Davis, Helen Doherty, Rex Gardecki, Rob Turner (now Dutch Mufasia), Ron Abrams, and Lou DiMascio—each leaving an indelible mark on the game.
