In Wilmington, Delaware, on September 4, 2024, community leaders and members of the African diaspora convened at Mother African Union Church to mark African Diaspora Heritage Month. The forum, hosted by Delaware Faith In Action, brought to light the ongoing socio-economic challenges faced by Black communities in the state, especially as Delaware prepared for its critical 2024 elections.
